Masses with schedules
The chapel of the Oratory welcomes all the faithful who wish to celebrate Mass with the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Saint-Vallier.
The daily mass is celebrated there every morning from Monday to Saturday at 8:30 am. Sunday masses are on Saturday at 4pm and Sunday morning at 10am. Sunday masses are on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. The Sunday morning mass is recorded and broadcast live on ICI Radio-Canada during the program “Le Jour du Seigneur”.
Liturgical feasts are also the occasion for beautiful celebrations at Saint Joseph’s Oratory in Quebec City:
- At Christmas, the night mass is celebrated on the evening of December 24 and the day mass on the morning of December 25.
- Easter is celebrated in a big way with the night mass on Holy Saturday and the morning mass on Easter Sunday.
- Several solemn masses to St. Joseph are celebrated on March 19, the feast day of this great saint.

There is no morning mass on Holy Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Services
Services – 7 Sundays
Holy Week
During Holy Week, the faithful can come and celebrate Holy Thursday and Good Friday services at Saint Joseph’s Oratory in Quebec City with the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Saint Vallier. These celebrations take on a special color that invites meditation.
Holy Week service schedule :
- Maundy Thursday service: 7pm.
- Office of the Passion: Good Friday at 3pm.
The 7 Sundays
The seven Sundays preceding March 19 are an opportunity to practice the devotion to the Seven Sorrows and Seven Joys of Saint Joseph with an afternoon service at Saint Joseph’s Oratory in Quebec City. These services are punctuated with songs, prayers, Bible readings and spiritual reflections. The Oratory is the only place of worship in America where this service is celebrated.
